It all started when…
I found out I was pregnant with my first sweet baby boy, and bought a soft cuddle blanket from a big box store. After washing it, I realized the soft material was starting to matte and lose its soft nature after the first wash - and that wasn’t acceptable. I started to search for the best quality cuddle fabrics on the market for my baby that wouldn’t lose its texture, fade, or wear down with washes – because we all know that baby blankets get a lot of love and “(not so) little messes on them. I sourced the best products on the market and used tried and true techniques for crafting them all together. After I created my first baby blanket, I was hooked for life. With our second sweet little boy he loved his blanket from the first touch.

I realized that crafting beautifully made, custom items was my calling - it's not just a job for us at Little Acres. We care about every little detail, and the moments that your little one and/or you have when using our products. At Little Acres we offer quilting and basic sewing lessons for those who want to learn to add their own touch to a project. As my sweet baby boy grew up a little he shared in my love for pets and is a huge animal lover. After quite a few conversations that included me begging my husband to let us get “a couple goats”, a “couple” goats, turned into over 20 goats. They are so much fun and can be an addicting hobby.
